Out of grief has come a raw meditation on loss, with the release of the Foo Fighters 11th studio album.
Drummer Taylor Hawkins’ sudden death in March 2022 forms the backdrop to But Here We Are as the lyrics reflect on his loss. Singer and founder of the band Dave Grohl returns to drumming, where he cut his teeth with Nirvana, while guitarists Chris Shiflett and Pat Smear are ably supported by bassist Nate Mendel.
