Liam Gallagher and John Squire have joined forces for one of the first major albums of 2024.
Liam has always credited seeing the Stone Roses in Manchester in 1989 as being the seed that led to the creation of Oasis. Now he has joined forces with Madchester band’s frontman John Squire to create an eponymous album that is sure to delight fans of both bands.
John has taken sole charge of the song writing, leaving Liam to do what he does best – sing!
With neither Oasis nor The Stone Roses currently existing as bands and with reunions looking highly unlikely, this is a collaboration to scratch that itch to some extent, which is why we’re playing a track from Liam Gallagher and John Squire on our dedicated station.
