Peter Gabriel is back with I/O, his first album of original new material in 21 years.
In fact I/O is two albums, one called Bright-Side Mix and the other Dark-Side Mix.
Peter has always been known to take his time, but even by his standards the gestation period for the new album is remarkable. The initial production dates back to 1995!
In 2023 Gabriel released a new single from I/O every full moon, with its alternate mix released on the next full moon until, on December 1st, the album was released to critical acclaim.
