18 years since their last album Tears For Fears are back with their seventh studio album, The Tipping Point.
The album has been five years in the making and, as with all their previous releases, its quality clearly shows the time is well spent.
Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith, friends from their school days in Bath in the west of England, have had their ups and downs, but seem as tight now as they ever were.
The Tipping Point has echoes of the emotional heft and pop accessibility of Sowing The Seeds Of Love, but also brings a freshness to their sound.
