Thin Lizzy’s 1978 Live And Dangerous album has always been considered one of the finest live rock albums of all time. January 2023 sees the release of a Universal Deluxe Edition consisting of 118 tracks, 63 of which are previously unreleased.
There are multiple versions of The Boys Are Back In Town, Jailbreak, The Rocker, Dancing In The Moonlight and many more.
It is a bold enterprise and one that is likely to be hugely well received by the band’s fans. With frontman Phil Lynott no longer with us it fell to guitarist Scott Gorham to oversee the new package and he has created a thing of great power and beauty.
