The Killers have released Pressure Machine, an ambitious concept album of quieter tunes, but how did it come about?

For the first time since the band’s 2004 breakthrough, in Brandon Flowers words, “Everything came to a grinding halt and I was faced with silence.”

With time to reflect during the pandemic Brandon looked back on his childhood in Nephi, Utah and it led to a burst of creativity.

Inspired by his teenage memories and local character studies, the songs are interspersed with spoken-word commentaries from fellow Utahns.

See what you think! We are playing two tracks from Pressure Machine every hour on our specialized Killers station.
