On September 6th the Rolling Stones announced that their first album of new songs in 18 years Hackney Diamonds will be released on October 20th. Leading the way is the first single Angry which is out now.
The album is the first since the death of drummer Charlie Watts although his presence will be heard on some tracks as will Bill Wyman who plays bass on two songs.
Hackney Diamonds will also feature guest appearances which, so far, are a closely guarded secret although Ronnie Wood let slip, at the launch event at London’s Hackney Empire, that Lady Gaga makes an appearance.
As soon as Hackney Diamonds is released you’ll hear it on Exclusive Radio, but in the meantime we are playing Angry every hour right here.
