Creative people don’t let a small matter like lockdown quell the creative juices and the latest act to demonstrate this are U2, with the release of Songs Of Surrender.
Initially devised by The Edge, the album consists of a re-recording of 40 of the band’s best-loved tracks.
Whilst on the face of it this seems like a straightforward Unplugged approach, as well as acoustic instruments there are synthesisers, flutes, cellos, a choir and a brass band, not to mention a dulcimer on two tracks!
