After the release of Moving On Skiffle in March, Van Morrison has released his second album of the year with Accentuate The Positive. Not bad for a 78 year old!
After his homage to jazz and skiffle the new album sees Van return to two more of his childhood loves: 1950s rock n roll and 1960s pop. It’s a joyous double album covering hits by a range of artists including Chuck Berry, the Everly Brothers, Fats Domino and Little Richard.
Artists who make an appearance include Taj Mahal, Chris Farlowe and the late Jeff Beck, all of which means there is a lot to enjoy.
