After seven years away, the longest gap in their career, Def Leppard have released Diamond Star Halos.
Taking its name from a line in the T. Rex song Get It On, the album celebrates Glam Rock’s glory days and clearly takes influences from David Bowie and Queen among others.
It was recorded over the last two years with Ronan McHugh co-producing and paves the way for the Def Leppard 36-date US tour which runs June 16th to September 9th. Full tour dates and details here.
Debuting at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hard Rock Album Chart, Diamond Star Halos is the English band’s 12th full-length album and their fourth chart topper.
