Some things are long in the gestation, but are they worth the wait?
Well, in the case of the Rolling Stones release of Grrr Live! the answer is a resounding yes!
On December 15, 2012 the Rolling Stones concert at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey was recorded for a pay-per-view concert film One More Shot: The Rolling Stones Live.
That concert, part of the band’s 50 & Counting tour, has been remixed and re-edited and is now released as an album that captures the band at their magnificent best.
The show features guest appearances from Lady Gaga, John Mayer, Gary Clark Jr., The Black Keys, Bruce Springsteen and former Stones guitarist Mick Taylor.
